Job Title: Head of Operations and Strategy

Location: Bengaluru  


Position Overview:

We are seeking an experienced and strategic leader with 7-10 years of related work experience to serve as the Head of Operations and Strategy. This role will oversee the entire operations lifecycle, from gathering market intelligence, providing inputs at the design stage, building a team from the ground up, overseeing multi functions across finance, marketing and sales, compliance and customer fulfillment and post-sale service. The individual will also be responsible for defining and executing business strategies that drive scalability, growth, and operational excellence across the company.


Key Responsibilities:


Strategic Leadership:

  • Develop and execute the company’s overall operations strategy, aligned with business goals, to drive scalability and operational efficiency.

  • Identify key growth opportunities and develop strategic plans to expand market share in the corporate gifting industry.

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (e.g., Product, Marketing, Sales) to ensure cohesive and efficient execution of the company’s strategic initiatives.

  • Analyze market trends, competitive landscape, and customer needs to inform strategy and drive innovation in our offerings and platform.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee all day-to-day operations, optimize operational workflows to ensure efficiency, cost-effectiveness, and scalability in line with the company’s growth trajectory.

  • Develop and implement operational KPIs to monitor performance, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, product quality, and on-time delivery.

  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing operations team, fostering a culture of accountability, innovation, and continuous improvement.

  • Manage operational budgets, forecast operational needs, and ensure cost optimization across all aspects of the business.

Key Qualifications:

  • Experience: 7-10+ years of experience in operations and strategy, preferably in e-commerce, corporate gifting, supply chain, or tech-enabled platforms.

  • Leadership: Proven experience in leading and scaling operational teams in a high-growth, fast-paced environment.

  • Strategic Thinking: Ability to develop and execute long-term strategies while also managing day-to-day operations with a hands-on approach.

  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of optimizing processes and improving efficiency.

  • Tech-Savvy: Experience with technology platforms, automation, and system integrations to drive operational efficiency.

  • Vendor Management: Strong negotiation skills and experience in managing relationships with vendors, suppliers, and logistics partners.

  • Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across teams and stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in corporate gifting or related industries.

  • Familiarity with procurement platforms and e-commerce technologies.

  • MBA or advanced degree in business, operations, or supply chain management.
